Core curriculum
At Frenchville State School we have an established vision statement ‘Together We Shape Tomorrow’. We develop curriculum to meet our school needs based on the Australian Curriculum and guided by the P-12 Curriculum, Assessment & Reporting Framework.
Optimising every student’s opportunity to achieve to their full potential is at the heart of Frenchville State School’s commitment to all students. Teachers plan and implement the curriculum so that each child can be a successful learner.
Our shared understanding of individualized education at Frenchville State School involves knowing the learner through the identification of student needs and responding to them in a planned approach so they are challenged, supported and encouraged to reach their potential. We offer many programs to support, extend and enrich our students.
Frenchville State School has policies and procedures to support Differentiation for all students across all curriculum areas.

Subjects
Teaching and learning at Frenchville State School incorporates:
English
Mathematics
- Science
- Humanities and social science (incorporating the subjects of history, geography, civics and citizenship and economics)
Curriculum areas taught by specialist staff in The Arts (dance, drama, visual and media arts) and Music, Languages - Japanese (from Year 2), Health and Physical Education and Digital Technologies, ensure all areas of the Australian Curriculum are delivered to Frenchville students. Design Technologies is incorporated into the areas of HASS, Science, English and Mathematics.
