Interschool sport opportunities
Year five and six children are eligible to compete in interschool sport fixtures. There are three sport seasons, with competition played during school on Friday afternoons. At the start of each season students can nominate which sports they would like to participate in after seeking parent permission. Students participate in selection trials for each nominated sport. Several divisions are entered. Transport costs will apply for buses to transport students travelling to away from school games.

Interhouse sport opportunities
For the purpose of interhouse sports, the school is divided into four (4) houses with members of the same family generally placed in the same house. The houses and colours are as follows:
- Archer – Gold
- Capricorn - Red
- Fitzroy – Green
- Keppel – Blue
On Sports Day children wear their general uniform or a house colour shirt. When competing in an event they may be given a ‘bib’ to wear in the colour of their house, this helps event officials distinguish house points.
Representative Sports
Students are given the opportunity to trial for representative sports. Venues and dates are available at the commencement of the school year. Students who achieve at representative level - Greater Rockhampton, Capricornia or State, can apply for a small amount of financial support through our P&C Association.
