Canberra camp

In 2009 Frenchville State School introduced a school camp to our nation’s capital for our year seven students. Excellent feedback was received from parents, students and staff about the educational and cultural value of this camp.
Strong curriculum links support the camp. Our P&C endorsed that the camp continued for year six students, after year seven transitioned to secondary school.
Throughout the camp, we maintain electronic communication with home. Students and staff members contribute to regular Facebook updates from camp.
Students usually travel to Canberra for the camp in September of each year.  Whilst the cost of camp is rising, we encourage parents to put aside a small amount each week for the duration of your child's schooling life. Frenchville only has one school camp and it is possible to save the full amount to support your child's attendance over the seven year period of primary school.
